A Call To All

There is something powerful about 100 young people unashamedly worshiping before the throne of God. Dancing, jumping, hands lifted high. Others kneeling or laying prostrate in awe of their Savior. Our generation is looking for something to be passionate about, and God is the only One who can fulfill that desire. Everything else is a cheap imitation. We were created to worship and serve Him, and until we do, there will be a void in our life.

It is time for us to stop our passivity. God can't move in the nations unless we are willing to be His hands and feet. Don't worry about the who, what, when, where, and why. If God is calling you do something, do it! Many of the leaders here have told stories about God telling them to do crazy things (selling everything they own, etc), and God has always responded in amazing ways! If God is calling you to do something, trust Him! I've seen ankles healed, backs healed, pain and swelling disappear, my broken toe 75% healed (praise the Lord! And it continues to heal!), and a 6 year old wrist injury healed (along with personal healing).

A Christian is a Christ-follower, not a spectator. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" was not an optional command.

In view of eternity, what does a house, job, and "security" have over selflessly serving and worshiping our Creator? Our life is a vapor, and it can either be used on ourselves or as an offering to our Lover and Savior, Jesus.

Jesus saved us - is He worth anything less than our lives? I don't want to go back to being mediocre. I want to see the unreached reached. The Buddhist monks offer more devotion to their wooden idols than we do to our living God.

This isn't hype. This is the real deal. And we can either sit back, never fulfilling our true purpose, or we can trust that God really is who He says His is and follow Him. When you have complete trust and follow His leading, He will do amazing things! If every Christian were to do their job and be an active witness, the Great Commission would be fulfilled in 5 years!

And this isn't about us. It's never about us. God's work will be done, even if you don't respond to His call. But when you get to heaven, what do you want God to say to you?

What are you afraid of? Either He won't respond and you'll be in the same place you started, or He will respond, and you will know Him in a deeper way than you ever thought possible. God will pour Himself out on you if you will let Him.

The choice is yours.

Here am I, Lord, send me.
